All artwork sold under the Created brand is independently designed by the artist.

Geographic and coastal outlines used in our prints are based on publicly available data sources, such as MapTiler and OpenStreetMap. These sources provide open map data which is free for use in creative and commercial projects.

 

The raw geographic shapes (e.g., rivers, coastlines, borders, and terrain) are not subject to copyright. Our work involves transforming this data into original artwork through choices of colour, layout, typography, line style, texture, and composition. These creative decisions are protected under UK Copyright Law.

What Created owns

Created retains full copyright to:

 

  • artwork layout & composition

  • original graphic styling (colour, texture, line style)

  • typography choices & title presentation

  • poster designs, branding, product mockups, and photographs

 

Reproduction, modification, resale or duplication of Created designs or brand elements without permission is prohibited.

What we do not claim ownership of

Created does not claim ownership over:

 

  • geographic shapes (e.g., rivers, lakes, coastlines)

  • map boundaries

  • town/city names or coordinates

 

These elements belong to the public domain.
